Re:Gifted

Over the last couple of years, DC Comics has kind of “owned” the major networks in the area of super-hero content.  True: Netflix seems to have a good thing going with it’s Marvel street-level heroes (but I don’t do Netflix often).  But when it comes to “up, up, and away,” DC’s line-up on the CW can’t be beat.  That might start to change this fall when FOX premieres The Gifted, a show set in a world where the X-Men (and their counterparts in the Brotherhood) are no where to be found, even as the crisis for mutant kind continues.  Here’s the just-released trailer for the show dropping this fall on FOX.

Hopefully the show will get some traction and get a real following.  It could be interesting to see how they maneuver more obvious X-Men connections.
