I do wish the world of Bryson Elementary had a couple of more adult figures who were a little more keyed in to what Caulfield understands. It would make the strip that much better, I think.
Against my usual behavior, I decided to see Stephen King’s IT in theaters. Not so much scary as it’s shocking. But, once again, the world is populated with adults on the clueless-to-cruel spectrum. Not one adult with a real and positive presence. I understand that’s one of the tropes of the genre, but still . . .
