Nested Halloween Pumpkins?

Well, somehow the day got away from me.  I keep meaning to post something about Ross Douthat’s Sunday op-ed in the New York Times (tomorrow).  I’m also eagerly awaiting Awaiting the King, which should get here soon enough.  Not much “Halloween” today.  One Reformation moment: a student dressed up for history class came by and posted a copy of Luther’s “ninety-five theses” on my classroom door.  I’m guessing it wasn’t the kid dressed up as the Pope that did the posting.

Here’s a recent holiday FoxTrot comic (two holiday strips in two weeks from Amend).  Makes you wonder if such things would ever become a popular holiday item.
