We’ve now been in online classrooms for a week. It’s been a good experience, as good as you can get (probably) when compared to what you would have as a normal classroom. I do miss the rhythm and rhyme of face-to-face learning. There’s a lot to learn, of course. My goal is functionality and consistency; I’m not really a bells-and-whistles kind of guy. Beyond the classroom, I’ve recorded a couple of homeroom devotionals and one longer talk for our Easter chapel. We’ve also been hosting Passion Week Gatherings each morning this week for students and staff. These gatherings have been times of Scripture and prayer, worship and reflection as we move to Good Friday and Easter. It’s been nice to see people at the start of the day. It’s the closest that we get to hallway talk, I think.

This past Sunday the folks at GoComics.com ran another classic Peanuts strip with Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty ruminating under the tree. Those strips almost always make for some interesting back-and-forth.
Charlie Brown being vulnerable is always an awkward but interesting thing.
