In tonight’s episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD we got a better sense of the “big picture” of their final mission.  And even though the episode ended with a time jump, it’s clear that the season is building up to something that deals with significant threads in the MCU.  We also get confirmation on next week’s guest star.  It would be great if each jump gives us a significant guest star, even if it is only small-screen stuff.

Here’s a clip from tonight’s episode.  In the main action we see the team introduce Patton Oswalt’s Koenig character (he’s played members of that family tree before).  We also get more from the ancestor of a significant HYDRA figure.

Agent Daniel Sousa is back in play next week.  Glad I finished my viewing of Agent Carter.  It will be interesting to see where the historical thread takes the team next.
