I’m not completely sure what it is about yesterday’s FoxTrot by Bill Amend that gives it punch, but it does.  On one level, it’s Jason Fox being Jason Fox.  There’s this mixture of hope with a kind of momentary austerity at play.  And there’s something about scale (and how pizza slices really don’t scale) that adds to the punch.
