It’s the last Sunday of the school year (which is a sentence that shouldn’t have to be typed, really). This afternoon is Baccalaureate. We have meetings and clean-up for the rest of the week, with graduations set for Saturday afternoon. After that, I’m done with school talk until July. But more on that tomorrow.
The fact that Charles Schulz gave the school building in Peanuts a voice is interesting to me. Animals are easy to understand (though there’s obviously a difference between Snoopy and Woodstock). We don’t see that much anywhere else in comics. Here’s today’s classic Peanuts strip, which involves a crabby Lucy and a sensitive school building.
