The classic Peanuts run over at gocomics.com has been reprinting some great strips lately. They just finished the “summer camp” run where Charlie Brown’s bunkmate says the same thing over and over again: shut up and leave me alone. Peppermint Patty, visiting from the neighboring girls camp, was not amused. Now Chuck and Snoopy are back from camp and settling into their routine. For Snoopy, that means time with the neighborhood birds. This one is pretty fun in a way you don’t see much anymore.
We speak often of “seeing yourself in Scripture” and making “point-for-point” connections. I suppose birds can, too. Though they probably wouldn’t always be happy with the outcome.
