I’ve got a couple or three shows returning to the airwaves this week.  The Good Place is the one I’m looking forward to most.  The show takes turn after turn that makes things even more interesting even as the characters go deeper into the mystery that is attempting to live the virtuous life.

I’ve spent the last couple of days rewatching season two, and recently watched the episode where things starts to fall apart, but structurally for the Place and relationally for the people . . . and Michael and Janet.  It’s interesting: the clip is all about friendship, but the title given by NBC has to do with love.  We would all do well to remember the connection, I think.

The Good Place returns with two episodes this Thursday night.
