Today was a really good day for the Sunday funnies.  The classics were great and the currents were thoughtful and holiday-appropriate.  Case in point: today’s Frazz by Jef Mallett.  It hits at something that many of us feel about holidays and time.  And it’s Mr. Spaetzle’s comment in the last panel that moves the conversation to its logical conclusion.

This is also the first time I’ve noticed how Mallett does away with the speech bubble and relies on the actual visual of speaking to show who’s doing the talking.  It’s a nice touch, though a bit risky for the lazy comic reader.
