Another standout song from U2’s most recent “surprise” ep is “Scars.”  It kind of begins the more “Easter-y” heart of the collection.  Listen to it (and watch the lyric video) and you’ll hear and see why.

In other news, I did turn 50 today.  I’ve got thoughts on that; I’ll get around to them soon.  It was a good day: a full class schedule, good interactions with coworkers and friends, and a good neighborhood dinner.  And I’m ready now for a good night’s sleep.
