Let’s face it: The Mandalorian and Grogu is the kind of movie that has everything and nothing to prove.  Everything because the Star Wars franchise has seen better days (lots has been written about this); nothing because the team behind the show has produced some great television during the run of The Mandalorian.  So yes, the little one carries the hopes of us all.  But also yes, we just want a fun movie that ties up some important threads and leave us with some new hope.

The final trailer for the movie dropped today.  As a final trailer, it does a commendable job (without using the line of dialogue from a previous trailer that really carried a heavy note).  Here’s the trailer for your enjoyment:

It’s great seeing Zeb from Star Wars: Rebels in the mix.  It’s also great seeing so many shots of Imperial and Rebel Alliance weaponry.  The presence of these things definitely add some weight to the proceedings.
